We endeavour to minimize unnecessary appointments to create as little stress as possible for our clients. These appointments can be booked in and around work or study hours, on weekends and after hours where necessary. Friends and family members are also more than welcome to join in on these appointments.
At your first appointment
- Allow approximately an hour for this consultation.
- Talk about colour themes. We have colour swatches for our huge fabric range.
- Consider accessories (flowers, shoes, makeup etc).
- Set yourself a realistic budget.
- Have a full set of measurements. Pregnancy, weight loss or gain, advanced bookings, and health etc do sometimes come into play. Corina is highly flexible to the wishes of her clients.
At your second appointment
- Allow approximately half an hour.
- Fitting of mock gown in calico and tailored to your torso – creating a perfect fitting gown.
At your third appointment
- Allow approximately an hour.
- Fitting of actual gown (fit and drape checked, hems finalised and detailing confirmed)
- Discuss veil and jewellery.
At your final appointment
- Allow approximately 30 minutes to an hour.
- Final dress fitting
- Full dress rehearsal
- A crash course in deportment - walking, sitting, posture, veil and train positioning and best photo angles
- Ironing/hanging and packaging of garment
- Final payment for your gown.
Overseas and out of town clients
For our out of town clients, we offer a unique two appointment service. The first appointment will consist of the design of your gown and also the calico fitting. At the second and final appointment, the gown will be fitted, final alterations are made and hems are finalised. While you enjoy shopping and lunch in one of the many attractive locations in the area, these alterations are completed and the gown is ready to be picked up.
For our overseas brides, we can offer a 30 hour service from the design to pick up.
For bridesmaids who are travelling from overseas, we offer an express six hour service, from calico to gown pick up.
